Pathfinders' Board of Directors

Kristin MacDermott

Kristin is a licensed professional counselor trained in marriage and family therapy.
Her passion to help people overcome the emotional and psychological effects of cancer led her to co-found Pathfinders in 2004 to provide low or no-cost counseling and volunteer support for families in the Roaring Fork Valley.
That same passion led her to found Reimagine (www.reimagine.me) in 2012, a Los Angeles-based company that helps families across the country reimagine cancer by teaching a proven curriculum of resiliency skills in live, online classes.

Kristin holds degrees from Duke and Antioch Universities, and was trained in mind-body medicine at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C. and at Harvard Medical School.

Allison Daily

Allison believes that if the pain and sadness can be a part of the honoring and remembrance, then healing has begun.

She has a very personal understanding of loss as she lost her dear husband, Art, in December of 2020, as well as her brother to suicide in 1990. Allison lives in Aspen and has two boys, Rider and Burke.
